Sparks Yoga offers AIReal Yoga™ and Traditional Yoga. We have state of the art AIReal swings and equipment, as well as infrared heating panels for our heated classes.

AIREAL YOGA™ CLASSIC

How often do you find exercise that is therapeutically healing AND fun? This is a blissful balance of both.

AIReal Yoga™ can transform any traditional practice of restorative, yin, or even power yoga off the floor and into the air. The Classic class focuses on the foundational poses that will eventually lead into more advanced aerial classes. This class is built for the beginner to learn the basic poses and get used to the hammock, but also gives the more practiced many chances to advance poses. You will work on flexibility, balance, strength, and even inversions (when you are ready!) with the added benefit of the hammock to help stabilize you and challenge your practice.

This is a blissful balance of both.
AIReal Yoga™ can transform any traditional practice of restorative, yin, or even power yoga off the floor and into the air. Where the Fundamentals class focuses on the foundational poses, this class builds on those foundational poses and offers opportunities to advance them.
This class will continue to follow the same principles of a vinyasa yoga class, but the teacher will build on what was already learned in the Fundamentals class. We will move faster in this class, similar to a flow class. We will also focus much more on core work and balance than in the Fundamental class. We will work on flexibility, balance, strength, and even inversions with the added benefit of the hammock to help stabilize you and challenge your practice.

GENTLE FLOW

This class is finds a balance between movement and rest. It is meant for all levels to enjoy!
Gentle Flow begins softly and transitions from longer holds into a slower vinyasa style flow built for all levels, ending with restorative poses that leave you relaxed when you finish. If you are new to yoga, this is a great class for you to learn foundational poses to build your practice. If you have been practicing for a long time, this is a great class for you to slow down and restore. We all need this class!

DEEP STRETCH

This class incorporates deep stretch poses which we hold for a longer amount of time. Long holds help restore flexibility and increase patience and pause. Deep stretch helps create body-breath connection and a mindful practice, focused on alignment within the poses.

POWER FLOW

Let’s set the record straight. The “Power” in Power Yoga comes from YOU!
It is the power you feel when you leave a class more energized, more alive, more connected and present.
Power Yoga is meant to be EMPOWERING for all levels, and this class is just that. The teacher guides you through a vinyasa flow class with sequences that offer modifications for both the beginner and options for the advanced. You adjust the class to fit your needs. This class will leave you feeling energized and restored!
  • Warmed class (80-85°)

RESTORATIVE

This class aims to help you let go of tension, ease your mind, and relax.
Restorative offers a quiet, calming therapeutic practice that helps tone the body while also releasing any physical and mental tension.
We will use a variety of props such as blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps to help the body find its ultimate state of relaxation. Perfect for beginners and advanced practitioners looking for a balance to their yoga practice.

HIIT YOGA

This exciting class series is a fusion of high intensity interval training (HIIT) and traditional yoga poses to intensify your heart rate, increase active calorie burn and after burn along with the long yoga pose holds to improve flexibility and balance.

A 45 minute class consisting of traditional sun salutations for warm up, 30 minute sequence of fast paced intervals followed by periods of pose holds, finishing with long yin poses for cool down.

WARM FLOW

This vinyasa style practice is all about the connection between synchronized breathing into and out of poses.
The basic principles of poses and sun salutations will be taught, coupled with the importance of breathing your way through foundational sequences. This class will teach you alignment in postures and will help you learn how to build on the basic into the more advanced poses. This class is built to challenge your practice no matter how new or old you are to yoga.

AERIAL CHILL

Think AIReal Yoga™ is all acrobatics? Think again! This class is all about relaxation and self-care. We will dim the lights, drop the swings all the way down, and use them as a prop to do some slow, restorative yoga. Ending with an extra long savasana in the hammock, you will leave this class floating on air.

This class is limited to 12 people, so please sign up in advance. If you cannot make it to class, be sure to take your name off the list at least 2 hours prior to class to avoid a $10 late cancellation fee.

Great for all levels.

AERIAL SLOW FLOW

AIReal Yoga™ uses the hammock to elevate your traditional yoga practice and help you practice poses that are not possible without the use of the prop.

This class is a slowed-down version of our traditional AIReal class, with the focus being on holding poses longer and slowing down to restore and recharge. This class is a great way to wind down your day while also gaining flexibility and strength through the use of the hammock.

This class is limited to 12 people, so please sign up in advance. If you cannot make it to class, be sure to take your name off the list at least 2 hours prior to class to avoid a $10 late cancellation fee.

YOGA BARRE

Yoga Barre is a fast-paced, fun class combining yoga strengthening and stretching exercises with the ultra-toning exercises of barre. We use small hand weights, sliders, exercise balls, and a barre to get a full body workout.

Class starts with a yoga style warm-up that leads into strengthening yoga exercises using sliders, weights, and exercise balls. We add in some cardio moves to get your heart rate up too. Next, we move to the barre to target the thighs, calves, glutes, and core. We then move back to the mat for more core work. Class ends with a yoga cool down and short savasana.

  • Very limited class size.
  • Mat and water recommended
  • Some fitness experience recommended. Does not have to be yoga or barre experience.

COMMUNITY YOGA

BUTI YOGA

Buti Yoga is a soulful blend of yoga, cardio, tribal dance, conditioning, and deep abdominal toning.

“Buti” translates to a “cure that has been hidden or kept secret,” believing that the only true cure comes from deep within ourselves. One of the premises in Buti is to draw on primal energies and movement to nurture our bodies and allow them to thrive. This energetic class is great for all levels, and is especially recommended for anyone looking to try a non-traditional yoga class!
