Yoga Classes

Sparks Yoga offers AIReal Yoga™ and Traditional Yoga. We have state of the art AIReal swings and equipment, as well as infrared heating panels for our heated classes.

AIREAL YOGA™ CLASSIC

How often do you find exercise that is therapeutically healing AND fun? This is a blissful balance of both.

AIReal Yoga™ can transform any traditional practice of restorative, yin, or even power yoga off the floor and into the air. The Classic class focuses on the foundational poses that will eventually lead into more advanced aerial classes. This class is built for the beginner to learn the basic poses and get used to the hammock, but also gives the more practiced many chances to advance poses. You will work on flexibility, balance, strength, and even inversions (when you are ready!) with the added benefit of the hammock to help stabilize you and challenge your practice.

AIREAL YOGA™ FLOW

How often do you find exercise that is therapeutically healing AND fun?
This is a blissful balance of both.
AIReal Yoga™ can transform any traditional practice of restorative, yin, or even power yoga off the floor and into the air. Where the Fundamentals class focuses on the foundational poses, this class builds on those foundational poses and offers opportunities to advance them.
This class will continue to follow the same principles of a vinyasa yoga class, but the teacher will build on what was already learned in the Fundamentals class. We will move faster in this class, similar to a flow class. We will also focus much more on core work and balance than in the Fundamental class. We will work on flexibility, balance, strength, and even inversions with the added benefit of the hammock to help stabilize you and challenge your practice.
  • No added heat
  • Recommended that you attend at least 5-10 Classic classes before this one due to the faster pace and increased strength work.

GENTLE FLOW

This class is finds a balance between movement and rest. It is meant for all levels to enjoy!
Gentle Flow begins softly and transitions from longer holds into a slower vinyasa style flow built for all levels, ending with restorative poses that leave you relaxed when you finish. If you are new to yoga, this is a great class for you to learn foundational poses to build your practice. If you have been practicing for a long time, this is a great class for you to slow down and restore. We all need this class!

HATHA YOGA

This class is a little bit of hatha and a little bit of flow combined with a lot of props and adjustments and assists.

This class is great for all levels, because it focuses on proper alignment with the use of props to help get us correctly and safely into all postures. It is challenging for even the advanced because the poses are held for a longer length of time, and there is always an option for advancement. Coupled with a great playlist and light-hearted atmosphere, this is a class meant to appease to all yogis!

HOT POWER FLOW

Let’s set the record straight. The “Power” in Power Yoga comes from YOU!
It is the power you feel when you leave a class more energized, more alive, more connected and present.
Power Yoga is meant to be EMPOWERING for all levels, and this class is just that. The teacher guides you through a vinyasa flow class with sequences that offer modifications for both the beginner and options for the advanced. You adjust the class to fit your needs. This class will leave you feeling energized and restored!

RESTORATIVE ($10 Drop-In)

This class aims to help you let go of tension, ease your mind, and relax.
Restorative offers a quiet, calming therapeutic practice that helps tone the body while also releasing any physical and mental tension.
We will use a variety of props such as blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps to help the body find its ultimate state of relaxation. Perfect for beginners and advanced practitioners looking for a balance to their yoga practice.

HIIT YOGA

This exciting class series is a fusion of high intensity interval training (HIIT) and traditional yoga poses to intensify your heart rate, increase active calorie burn and after burn along with the long yoga pose holds to improve flexibility and balance.

A 45 minute class consisting of traditional sun salutations for warm up, 30 minute sequence of fast paced intervals followed by periods of pose holds, finishing with long yin poses for cool down.

WARM FLOW

This vinyasa style practice is all about the connection between synchronized breathing into and out of poses.
The basic principles of poses and sun salutations will be taught, coupled with the importance of breathing your way through foundational sequences. This class will teach you alignment in postures and will help you learn how to build on the basic into the more advanced poses. This class is built to challenge your practice no matter how new or old you are to yoga.

WAKE & FLOW

This high-energy class will leave you feeling awake and ready to take on your day!
Taught as a vinyasa style class, you will move through poses with a focus on linking your breath and movement in order to energize your body. Because our bodies move a little slower in the early morning, we begin through a series of sun salutations that start slow and continue to up their pace as your body warms. Expect to challenge your balance, strength and core through sequences of poses that work on flexibility and stamina.
  • Heated class (90-95°)
  • Mixed level class. It is recommended that you have some yoga experience to help ease you into this early morning practice.
  • Mat, towel, & water highly recommended

This vinyasa flow class aims to help you wake up and reenergize on your lunch break!
This practice is a slowed-down flow that will incorporate movement through poses with extra focus on breath awareness and holding postures. We know this is your lunch break, so expect a class that will realign your body and center your mind so you can get back to work.

This unique class is an accessible flow class for all. 
 
Yogahour® offers clear and specific alignment instructions and is great for the beginner as well as the advanced. The teacher will help you focus on alignment in foundational poses and help guide you into more advanced poses when you are ready. This is a great class for all levels to try out.

Looking for a class that is good for your soul, easy on the mind, and healthy for the body? This is your class.
Set to soulful music, this class is a balance of vinyasa flow, breath awareness techniques, and play. Come start your Saturday with us and leave knowing you have set your day off with a healthy, soulful start!

YANG & YING YOGA

This class is a balanced mix of flow and yin that is all about bringing your awareness inward.
The first half of class incorporates a slow vinyasa flow to warm you up and create the energy you will then use to cool back down. The second half of class brings you into longer holds of yin-like, restorative poses to help release deeply stored tension. These poses aim to calm the heart rate, stretch the body, and leave you feeling restored. The two styles of yoga blend together to create a balance for the mind, body and spirit.
